About Preisys, LLC
Preisys stands for Preemptive Information Systems. Since 2012 we have built an MSP around a single conviction: the cheapest incident is the one an attacker never gets to start.
Preisys was founded by Marcus Rivera in 2012, after a decade of federal and commercial incident response work. The pattern was always the same: an unpatched edge device, a reused administrator credential, a backup nobody had ever restored. The intrusions were rarely sophisticated. They were simply unanswered.
Rather than build another break-fix shop, Preisys was designed as a preemptive practice. Offensive security operators sit on the same floor as the service desk. When our red team finds a technique that works against a client, the managed services team hardens every other client against it that week.
Today Preisys protects more than 240 organizations across healthcare, professional services, manufacturing, and public sector — from twelve-person specialty firms to multi-site enterprises with regulated workloads.
We measure success by incidents that never happened. Every engagement starts by mapping what an adversary can reach today, not by waiting for an alert.
Clients see the same dashboards, tickets, and findings our engineers do. No sanitized monthly summary hiding an unpatched domain controller.
We staff a named engineering pod per client and keep it stable. Your team should know our engineers by name, not by ticket number.
Backups get restore-tested. Failovers get executed. Detections get red-teamed. If we claim it works, we have evidence with a date on it.
